Women in AI Awards ANZ 2022 & AAIC Directors
The Women in AI Australia and New Zealand Awards are back for 2022 and will be taking place in Melbourne on the 31st March 2022. Application and nominations are open until the 17th December 2021. We're proud that two of Australia AI Collective's Founding Directors are also involved in the Awards with Dr. Sue Keay on the Advisory Group and Dr. John Flackett on the Advisory Group and Judging Panel. Applications and nominations are open for the inaugural Australia and New Zealand Women in AI Awards. The application deadline for the awards has been extended until the 31st December 2020.
AI and Autonomous Systems Capability Survey
The Commonwealth, State and Territory Governments map Australia’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Autonomous Systems capabilities to help inform Governments about Australia’s competitive strengths and capabilities in innovative, unique, or world-leading AI technologies across organisations of all sizes. The National AI and Autonomous Systems Capability Survey will be open for submissions until 4th December 2020 on the Commonwealth Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources website.
Launch of the Australia AI Collective
The Australia Artificial Intelligence Collective (AAIC) is thrilled to have launched today. A not-for-profit and Australia’s first independent AI industry body, the AAIC is committed to the development of a national AI industry. The AAIC is founded by AiLab (Artificial Intelligence Laboratory) in South Australia and the Queensland AI Hub.
